Google is my friend

Friday Five I thought I should post about what I have been doing for the past week. Work, playing Mario VS Donkey Kong and playing with my new phone. I also have been working on a few of my pages and a new layout. I hope to have it up after this entry. It still has a lot of work but I want to put up something new. 😉 I’m getting tired of using light colors. I’m in the mood for something a littler darker. I keep also trying to find out how to edit my LJ layouts the way I want them. Maybe I need to search google. Google is my friend. 🙂

Like always I wanted to do the Friday Five. I love doing these but I never to seem to really update on Fridays. Well, I am now.

  • 3.) What is your view on forgiveness? Forgive and forget. . .sometimes.
  • 4.) Do organized religions do more harm than good? Depends.
  • 5.) If you had a day to spend playing God, what would you do? Clean up the world. No more war, no more hate, no more sickness, no more hungry children/anyone. Just happy moments for everyone.

I was suppose to be off tomorrow (friday. . .today for some, tomorrow for me) but yet again I open my month and said I would work it. I’m only working 5pm to 8pm. Nothing to bad. Just three hours. I can handle that. 🙂

Keith should be getting back soon from picking Nathan up from work. Then when he gets back Keith and I have to finish watching a movie.

Who’s a dork?

Work is going to get a lot worse. We start staying open to 1am not the normal 12am. We (which means me) will have to go in at the same time but will won’t be leaving until at least 2am or later. Normally I don’t get out of work until 1am anyway. :yuck: This sucks so bad. I’m not sure when this is suppose to start happening but it is for sure happening.

My caned diced peaches and pears I’m eating for breakfast don’t have a very good taste to them. I love them normally but today they taste. . .odd. It could be because I just woke up not to long ago and I’m drinking Yoo-Hoo. Don’t give me that look. Yoo-Hoo is good.

I think I shall kill all of the spam bots. I had 8 comments I had to delete today already and my guestbook has so many it’s not even funny. Stupid Simpbook. I’m fixing to change over to BellaBook. You can add smilies and have gravatars. I’m looking forward to adding that. Have it look all neat and stuff. 🙂 I love coding.

Guess who is back, back again

click to read. It makes me very angry to think people believe this way. Women no matter what should have the right to do what she wants with HER body. I mean, come on. What right does anyone have to tell anyone else what they can and can’t do with their body (male or female). I can see both sides of the story but no matter if women A is going to have an abortion because she got raped or women B is getting an abortion because she just feels like it. Both women should have the same choice. I’m not saying women B is justified for her actions but she should still have that right. :censored:

Sorry for that little rant but I had to get that out. I was reading someones LJ and they were talking about it as well. And like always I had to put my 2 cents in. 🙂 And thank you, Amanda for the icon idea.

I was off yesterday and I was suppose to be off today but like always I got called in. I worked only a 4 1/2 shift. Which wasn’t that bad at all. I was very glad to only have worked that long. Most of the time when they call me in, I work around a 8 to 9 hour shift. Surprise! :rawr:

I really want to find something better then Wendy’s. Don’t get me wrong, I like my job but I know I could be doing so much better then what I’m doing now. I could be making so much more money :money: doing web design but I’m not sure how to get in to it. I have skills way past my level. I can do just about anything some one could ask me to do but like I said I’m not sure how I would get in to it.

I forgot who I was talking to and they couldn’t believe how fast I can type. The even scarier thing is that I can type just as fast in code. I don’t normally because I like taking my time with code. I like the fact that I’m good at what I do. I love that fact. :hearts:

My new goal in life is to be a full time coder/web designer. I believe that I can, so it has to happen. 🙂 I rock. See, you have to have a big ego in this business. Everyone knows that. 😆

Nothing much has been going on. I had a pretty good two days off. I have really enjoyed being away from work. It’s just awesome. :woot:

We went out to eat with Keith’s family and spent sometime with them today. We spend last night with my family. It was very nice. We don’t get to see our families very often and I enjoy the time we do get.

I have been working on Chet’s site for about 3 hours fixing little things that I have been aiming to fix for weeks now and just now had the time. I fixed mostly code that now one will notice but me because I’m very picky like that. I just got off the phone with Chet and he seems to really like what I did. The little things are what makes a site. People notice the little things. 🙂

Keith and I are fixing to go to bed soon I believe. I think I might get a shower before hand so I don’t have to get one before work. Wet hair before work is very bad. It goes every where. :yuck:

I was so right about my check. I got $396 and some change. I am good like that. I’m going to have such a large check for next time around. I’m going to have a lot of over time hours. I had a little over 43 hours last week and I believe I’m going to have around 46 or so this week. That will be a lot of extra money. Which we need since Keith lost his job. Keith has been looking but in the mean time I’m the one making the money. We must be smart about it all. :looksdown:

I feel a lot better today then I did last week. I think I’m finally getting over everything. I think I just needed to rest. Everyone at Wendy’s get’s two or more days off but can Jennifer NO that is asking to much. Stupid Wendy’s sometimes.

I don’t feel so good

I don’t feel very well. I don’t know what is up with me. I think I got whatever Keith had last week. Just my luck too. I can’t miss any work. I can’t.

On the plus side tomorrow is payday. :money: Well, today actually but who cares. 😆 I’m hoping it will be around $395 or so. I had in over 80 hours for this two weeks. I think maybe I’m working to hard but in the real world it’s work to hard or don’t have a job. You know?

I put up a new layout a few days ago. I really like it. I love the colors. I use one of my father-in-laws shots from his site. I really love how this layout looks. The colors just fit. You know? I love that.

Since my last entry I have been saving about every other paragraph. That is truly sad. I can’t help it. I really don’t want to lose another entry. This is my other real journal I keep. I would love to keep a hand-written one but I hate to write anything by hand.

Such a random entry. I love those. It makes if fun reading them. I have been finally keeping up with my daily blogs I read. I’m finally getting back in the habit of commenting. I think my goal for this year start commenting more and get back to writing more blog entries again. My other goal is to learn more PHP and up grade from 1.5 to 2.0 in wordpress. 🙂 So many goals. I think in the next couple of months I’m going to get some books about web design. I know I know a lot but I want to learn more. More is good! :woot:

I think I’m going to try to get Keith :hearts: to spend sometime with me before I go to bed. :yawn: I’m sleepy and I think I will be heading off to bed early.
