1) The Bodyguard is the best-selling movie soundtrack ever and this is the song most often associated with Whitney Houston. Is it on your iPod/mp3 player? Nope.

2) In the movie, Rachel (Whitney) sings “I Will Always Love You” after she realizes she can never see Frank (Kevin Costner) again. What song reminds you of a past love? So many to pick from.

3) Despite the movie’s and the song’s overwhelming popularity, Whitney Houston was awarded a Razzie Award as the worst actress of 1992. What’s the most recent criticism you received? Who even knows. I can’t remember.

4) On the bright side, share the last compliment you received. Husband tells me I’m pretty a lot.

5) In the 1980s, when Whitney first burst onto the scene, a trendy woman wore big hair, big bows and big shoulder pads. Can you think of anything you wore that was fashionable at the time, but looking back, makes you cringe? (An embarrassing photo to accompany your answer would be nice! I had the awesome bow cut.

6) When this song was popular, cell phones were uncommon and Facebook was unheard of. Which has had a bigger impact on your life — smart phones or social networking? Can I pick both!?!

7) Whitney’s marriage to Bobby Brown left many people shaking their heads. Whitney and Bobby’s daughter recently married the young man who was raised as her brother. Have you ever been in a relationship your friends/family didn’t approve of? Most of them.

8) Whitney Houston’s grave marker reads, “I Will Always Love You,” so obviously her family is very proud of the success of this recording. How would you like to be remembered? As a very loving family women.

9) Whitney was born in Newark, the largest city in New Jersey. It’s a major air, rail and shipping hub, and it’s in the Eastern Time zone. Have you ever been to Newark … or any town in New Jersey? Nope.

Saturday 9: Mrs. Potter’s Lullaby

1. Adam Duritz (writer and lead singer of Counting Crows) mentions previous girlfriends in songs. In Mrs. Potter’s Lullaby he sings “There a little piece of Maria in every song I sing”. Is there a piece of an ex that will always be a part of you? I’m scared sometimes that their will be. . .

2. Who was your very first significant friend? Most likely Candi, we starting becoming friends way back in the 4th grade.

3. What are four (4) things you hope to do this weekend? Besides work, sleep, spend time with Kyle and cook a nice dinner.

4. What do you consider to be the main purpose of your blog? Personal outlet and design . . .

5. Tell us something that you’ve never before written about in your blog because it’s too personal. That’s a good question, I’ve talked about most everything besides my sex life, and besides the fact I get it on a regular basis nothing else to report. lol

6. If you could choose your doctor, do you prefer someone of the same or opposite sex? I could careless in most cases, in my every day doctor visits I like a women, most of them understand about pain and what not.

7. If you could dream about anything tonight, what would the subject matter be? Children. . .be being pregnant. . . .

8. How do you react to practical jokes when they’re played on you? I don’t like them at all, is why I don’t do them to others.

9. What’s on your agenda after this weekend for the upcoming week? School and work. . .my fall break is over. 🙁

Saturday 9: Someday We’ll Be Together

1. Have you ever left a relationship but knew that eventually you’d get back together? Yes. The lessons I have learned.

2. Are there things that you hate to buy? Items that you either hate to spend perfectly good money on or hate to spend the time it takes to buy them? Gas. I hate to buy it. I know I need it to go to work or any where else but the money.

3. What is your favorite cartoon show and why? Family Guy, hands down. 🙂 I just love the stupidness of it all. Good to veg out sometimes and not have to think.

4. Are you anywhere close to doing what you wanted to do as a kid? Kind of. I am in college to get a degree in Web design.

5. Now that you’re in the “real world,” is your current job now really what you want to do for a living? If not, what would you ultimately like to do? My current job is Order Capture for ShopNBC. It pays nice but it isn’t want I want to be doing for the rest of my life.

6. A local university has asked you to teach a class about the one thing you know the most about. What would you be teaching and what would the name of the course be? Web Design. Course name: Web design for Dummies. 🙂

7. Commercials … they can make us laugh or can annoy the heck out of us. Tell us about your favorite commercial and/or a commercial you simply loathe. I can take them or leave them. I don’t really have a favorite or anything that I truly hate.

8. Tell us about your favorite comedy movie of all time. Umm, I really don’t have one. :/ I fail as person. lol.

9. Tell us about your favorite black and white movie of all time. Gone with the Wind. It wasn’t true B&W but very close.

Saturday 9: My Best Friend’s Girl

1. Have you and a friend ever have an argument because you were attracted to the same person? I think so in high school but that has been many years ago.

2. Who never returns your phone calls? Here lately my mother. Other wise, I most likely it’s me not returning them. oops.

3. What was your favorite childhood toy? Seems silly now but I use to go outside and play cooking. Find old pots and pans, spoons, and jars. And act like I was on a cooking show.

4. Who is the last person you greeted at your door? My brother, Stacy and their son Chance.

5. Would you change anything about your life right now? HELL NO! I am happier then I have ever been.

6. Who is the easiest person for you to talk to? Either muh Cammie or Kyle. It is a toss up.

7. If you could live in any ancient city during the height of the quality of its society and culture, which one would you choose? Good question, I have no clue. Maybe, umm. . .during the times of Egyptians. I want to know how the pyramids was made.

8. What is the most exciting event you’ve ever witnessed? I have no clue. Maybe Ozzfest 2004. I guess.

9. What do you consider the ideal age to have a first child? In 20s. I find it a good age to be able to enjoy having a child but still young enough to be a child yourself with them.

Saturday 9: I Wonder What She’s Doing Tonight

1. Have you ever lost a lover and spent way too much time wondering what they were doing? Yes, wondered more then I would have liked to admitted.

2. What was your favorite vacation ever? Last year when I went to Holiday World with my family.

3. Do you like surprises? If yes, what kinds? Or are you one of those people who absolutely has to know what’s going on before it happens? I hate surprises. HATE THEM! I am to much of a control freak.

4. Have you ever written a poem? Feel free to share one. Or even a dirty limerick is OK.

I see blues and purples,
The sky dancing in form,
With the colors,

5. Did anything interesting show up in your mail lately besides the bills?Not really. I never get real mail. It makes me sad!

6. How many of your friendships have lasted more than ten years? Which of your current friends do you feel will still be important to you ten years from now? Family members don’t count.
My best friend Cammie has been going strong for almost 13 years.

7. Do you own a pet? If so, do you buy them presents for holidays? Do you consider your pet(s) spoiled? If you don’t own one, do you think you will one day? I have a ton of pets and they do get gifts during the holidays. They are for real spoiled.

8. It’s Friday afternoon and you’re planning your weekend. What’s on your agenda on a hot August night? AC and a good book.
