Update on life

So many things to talk about. Where do I start. . .umm. . .well, Oral Communications is going okay, not sure how I feel about it but it’s okay. I don’t hate it but I don’t love it either. I think I am doing okay in the class far as a grade but I really don’t know because I don’t have anything graded.

I am selling my netbook and my nook so I can buy a nook color. I am in the process of being without the netbook now. I kind of miss it but since summer started I have picked it up maybe twice. Not a big deal. Just something else to keep track of.

I had a job interview today at 1pm for ShopNBC. It is another call center but I am hoping it is different than AFNI. I know it does pay more. It starts out at $10.20 hourly + more if you have worked in a call center before. 😀 Which I have. They said they will call or send you a letter letting you know one way or the other. But I have good faith. My friend Lance that I worked with at AFNI is a trainer there and said he put in a really good word for me. *crosses fingers* He said he already put his approve on it. Which is awesome. It is 3:30 – Midnight. That works out great, I get out of class around 2:50pm during the fall. I am going to be tired but we could really use the money. I know it’s only part-time. All I really wanted anyway. Kyle’s check is enough to pay the bills so I don’t have to work but it doesn’t really leave anything extra for us. So, I want to help us out. I am truly looking forward to getting a paycheck again.

Well, I worked on a project for a friend already, I looked up school info for another friend that doesn’t have internet. I went shopping for groceries and had a job interview. I am tired.

PS: I also love the new dashboard for WP. Very nice. Random.

Broke but happy

Here while back on twitter I posted:

I can’t remember the last time I was this broke & at the same time I couldn’t tell you the last time I was this happy either.

And it hasn’t been truer. I have no job, living from Kyle’s pay check to his next and always waiting on school money it seems but I haven’t been happier. I love him so much. No matter what we have each other. It really is a nice feeling. We have food, a roof over our heads and clothes. We don’t go out and do a lot of things but we do do a lot of things together. Right now we are watching Weeds together every night. Trying to catch up on all of them. We are waiting on Dexter to come out. We sit in our office and play on the computer. We play games on Xbox or Wii. The little things mean more to me then going out every week end or something like that.You know?

Anyway, just a random post. Good night moon!

Refund like a boss

In February Kyle and I bought a front loading washer and dryer and a new double pillow top queen size mattress. We had them delivered by hhgregg it cost $69.99 to do so but we was suppose to get it back in the form of a rebate. Well, here it is June and we still hadn’t got the rebate back. I was a little upset for the reason they didn’t give us the rebate. Reasons being: we didn’t spend enough (we spent over $2,000), second reason can’t send to a PO box (I gave them both the PO box and are street address on the form), then the last reason was I didn’t fill out the store number (I sent in the original sales receipt with the store number on it).

So, while in town I went by hhgregg and talk to one of the sales people and now we got our $69.99 back. 🙂 Like a boss. Now, Kyle and I can go on a nice date with friends.

True story. 😀

My mini vacation as well

Last week my Cammie came down for a mini-vacation. I was so nice. We went a little bit of every where in Kentucky and I enjoyed every last minute of it. I needed it so bad. Being broke isn’t my favorite thing to be and hear lately I have been. We have had just enough money to pay bills and gas for Kyle to get back and forth to work. I am just happy she came down and so thankful for her. Without her being my bestest friend in the whole world. I just don’t know what I would do.
