Beam me up taco

Huh? Yeah, I know odd title. I seen this very odd youtube video when a taco beaming up stick guys. Totally funny! 🙂 I have a couple ideas for layouts. I need to work on my portfolio layout and get it up. I keep putting that off and I don’t need too.

I need to install Chyrp 2.1 for Cammie on Cammie.Me. I tried out a few different blog/cms over the weekend. Of course, WordPress, then ExpressionEngine 1.6.8, Harbi, Frog, Textpattern and I have been playing around with Chyrp for a few months. I think at this time I am sticking with Chyrp. Maybe Harbi for Cammie but not sure. We will need to talk about it.

Almost time for The Simpsons and Family Guy. :yay:

EDIT: Harbi just released a new version. Going to go play with it. Maybe I will like it. Not sure. . . 🙂

Small update. Just wanted to say I am super tired. Friday night Meadow spent the night. Saturday Caroline did. Saturday and Sunday I spend cleaning and redoing my bathroom floor. Looks awesome! 😀

Been busy working on a client’s website, also my kitten has been sick the last couple of days. Taking care of him.

Lost is over. I have one email to write, then waking Cody up to head to bed. I have to get up early tomorrow. Busy, busy, busy!

Finally. . .

After 3 days of working on different ideas and themes. I have done it. I have made a new one. I like the colors and style of it. I have made about 3 or 4 different themes and ended up trashing all of them before I even got half way done. I just got sick and tired of looking at it before I even posted it. lol That is bad.

I guess the next thing on my list of things to do around Geek Talk is to update wordpress. Since I have a couple plugins that hate me right now.

I slept most of the evening yesterday and now I have been up all night. I have finally messed up my sleeping patterns. 🙁 I am going to go lay down next to Cody for a couple of hours. Mom is going to be here around 10ish to pick me up so I can go to the doctor with her and Meadow.

Amazing. Just amazing.

I have been putting off updating. Not sure why. I have been busy behind the set here at Geek Talk and I have been posting old entries from 2003 and 2004. I’m not missing to many months of entries from 2002 to 2009. I mean, wow. I have been blogging that long. Amazing. Just amazing.

So many domains and sub-domains. Faded-Stars.Org, PurpleUsul.com, Crazy–Talk.Org and now Geek-Talk.Us. Just amazing. I have been blogging for ever man. I like that fact I have those entries. I may not like what I read but it is still life. It still happen to me. I suck at keeping a real journal but this, this has been true to me. I don’t care about comments. Don’t get me wrong I love getting them but that’s not why I blog. I blog just for the pure and simple fact I like to write. It’s life. One step at a time.

Well, I am off. Time to work on projects.

I just put up Version 2.2 a little while ago. I REALLY REALLY love this layout. I love Queer as Folk. If you watch it you would get the little saying on the graphic. Brain and Justin has broke up and Brain changed the view but it still didn’t bring Justin back. But they are back together now! So, it’s all beans.

I was talking to my friend Kitty and I was talking about how I was going to ask her to host me for a designs site and I was just playing around about it but I wanted to open a designs site and she goes…..”How much space do you need?” I was like…..HELL yeah!! So, with in a month you should see a designs site run by me. For right now, all it will have is like free layouts and wallpapers and stuff like that. I don’t know about anything else yet.

Anyway, I was talking to Christina today and I was ranting about how some of these people that have domains and they don’t know ANYTHING about web site design….I mean, they have really shitty layouts and cheesy (sp?) like icons that don’t match anything on the site, let alone the layout they have up…..I’m thinking WTF? Why do they even have a site?

Well, I went to Cato’s today and got a new pair of pants and two new pairs of shoes. They was having a big sale.

I will be going shopping again tomorrow at the local mall because I have an eye doctor’s thing to go to at 9:00am and then another doctor’s thing to go to at 2:45pm. So, I am going to have more then enough time to shop!!! =) I <3 shopping!!
